This device cannot start. Code 10 I have run the automatic fixer and it says the driver is up to date but there still is a yellow tag next to it. I have downloaded the lastest Driver for vista and changed the settings to run with vista SP2,still no joy.

The phone is still not showing up in my skype- tools- audio. I have tried all that you mention but still no audio for the phone. The phone shows skype contacts and can dial out from it but all audio is through the computer still. I have tried the Philips UK Support line, but have not yet got the matter resolved. If you do happen to resolve the issue for yourself, perhaps you might consider posting it here?

I will do the same, if I get a satisfactory solution to this very frustrating issue. I know its very frustrating,I have tried many things and its still not working. I think the key words here are that the usb device needs a direct input to the pc and not via a secondary usb hub on a laptop support table or similar.

I would recommend creating your own thread so that the community can best focus on your specific issue. Found this solution on an old Skype forum thread. This lets the system recognise the Voip device as a USB audio device. I think it has something to do with the way new motherboards read the onboard USB ports.
